今朝，散裂中子源、同步輻射光源等裝置與阿秒激光構成互補：前者從空間維度探測物質結構特徵，后者則從超短時間標準研討微觀過程。這一設施的落地，標志著長期被國外壟斷的高機能飛秒激光器實現全國產化，將為其他年夜科學裝置建設供給關鍵技術支撐。
按規劃，項目本年10月完成基建，2客變設計027年1月啟動設備安裝，2028年下半年所有的落成，2029年進進調試驗收階段。
